Fallout Jump Trampoline Arena

Toddler Hour at Fallout Jump
Let your little ABQ Kid jump carefree at Fallout Jump Trampoline Arena! Kids six and younger have the arena to themselves Monday – Saturday, 9 – 10 am, and Sundays from 10 – 11 am. Cost is $9 per child, one parent jumps FREE.

Story Time at Bookworks
Thursdays at 10:30 am Bookworks hosts an award-winning story time. FREE for the whole family.

Rio Grande Nature Center

Bosque Storytime Hour
On the first Saturday of every month (weather permitting). The Rio Grande Nature Center hosts multi-cultural natural history stories and songs with Dianne Rossbach. For ages 5–10. Free with admission ($3 per vehicle). Story time is held in the main garden outdoor classroom.

Barnes & Noble Coronado Center’s Storytime with Miss Amanda
Every Wednesday at 10:30 am Barnes & Noble Coronado Center hosts story time with and activity and a snack. Check their Facebook Page to find out what book Miss Amanda will be reading.

Barnes & Noble West Side Storytime with Miss Haven

Toddler Time at Explora
Every Monday little kids rule Explora Children’s Museum from 9 – 11 am! You can enjoy the exhibits with your kids four years old and younger…There is also a story time and a music jam! One of the best places in Albuquerque, Explora Science Center and Children’s Museum is bursting at the seams with exhibits to touch and feel and enjoy with your kid. Regular admission prices.

Story Time at the Balloon Museum
Twice each Wednesday the International Balloon Museum hosts Stories in the Sky. Story time, music, movement, and crafts are presented from 9:30 – 10:15 am and from 11 – 11:45 am. The events are designed for ages up to 6 years old, but all ages are welcome. This event is FREE!

Music in the Sky at the Balloon Museum
For children up to 3 years old and their adult companions, this FREE event happens twice each Wednesday, 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. Music, movement, and art…at the magical International Balloon Museum!

Garden Programs at the Natural History Museum

Garden Discovery at the Kiwanis Learning Garden
On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, The Natural History Museum hosts Garden Discovery programs for kids 2–17. Tailored for home school students, preschools, and play groups, these hands-on adventures include an educational snack and a take-home packet. Explore the programs HERE.

Story Time at the Natural History Museum
On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, the museum hosts story time! Free with museum admission (Adults: $8; Children 3–12 $5). Story Time is held in Classroom #1 from 10 – 11 am.

Story Times at ABQ Libraries

Albuquerque Public Libraries host story time events Monday through Saturday:

  • Preschool Story Time: stories, music, and puppets for ages 3–5;
  • Music and Movement Story Time: music, dancing, singing, and stories explore simple musical concepts. For ages 0–6;
  • Baby and Toddler Story Time: books, songs, fingerplays and body movement for ages 0–3 ;
  • Family Story Time: for all ages, this event features books, puppets, music, movement, Science, movies, and crafts.

Toddler Flamenco Classes

Flamenco Classes for Kids

Twice a week the National Institute of Flamenco has classes for ages 3 – 4. Dance improves motor skills, self-expression, confidence, imagination, focus, and social development, and promotes a healthy lifestyle.
