Albuquerque has a wealth of talented people working in tech. Some of them are kind enough to give back through CodeClubs.org, an organization that teaches kids, especially girls, computer coding and programming.
The fall semester of FREE classes kicks off this week, but kids in grades 6–12 are welcome to join the class at any time during the semester. This semester offers two Girls Who Code classes and two coed classes, for boys and girls. Classes include Beginning Programming (at Mesa Verde Community Center and at the Balloon Museum), Programming with Raspberry Pis (at the JCC), and Programming with Java (at Explora).
