Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Day

The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History is hosting a day full of activities and performances to honor the 25th Annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Day.

Partnering with the Sandia National Laboratories Asian Leadership Outreach Committee, the museum welcomes members of the Chinese Cultural Center, including ABQ and Lin’s Martial Arts Academy, New Mexico School of Chinese Language and Arts, Ichiyo School of Ikebana, Ikebana International Chapter 41, BK Taiko, and Ha’aheo O Hawai’i.

There will be performances of Chinese martial arts, Polynesian dancing, Japanese Taiko drumming, and more! Talin Market will have food samples, and there will be origami activities and Japanese floral arrangements.

The event is included with normal Museum admission. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
