Lunar Eclipse Viewing Party

May 15 @ 8:45 pm - 11:30 pm

Total Lunar Eclispe Red Moon

The Natural History Museum is hosting a viewing party for the total lunar eclipse on May 15!

If the skies are clear that  night, the doors will open at 8:45 pm. There will be telescopes on the museum’s front plaza and on the upstairs decks so that folks can get a closeup view of the moon as it turns deep red.

There will also be live presentations in the planetarium, streaming video from observatories, and moon-related activities.

Admission is by donation.

If it’s a cloudy night, the event will be cancelled.
